Howmuch does it generally cost to guarantee a huge (600cc and above) bike?

I’m 18 years old and looking to purchase my first bike. I prefer both styles of bikes but wondered which form wouldbe simpler on my budget. I’m assuming a sports bicycle will be less cheap but much more? Insight will be good.
