Fresh driver insurance problem?

“After I pass my exam Confused.com is showing me it will be 1600+ per-year per-year with provisional and 2500+. I ‘m wanting to move in january and would prefer to like to be driving to university then I ‘m 18 in december and would rather not wait till then. These costs are extracted from quite a few unique affordable cars I have entirely on autotrader. Any recommendations on lowering the purchase price
