The Honda CR-V offers one of the most spacious interiors among compact SUVs, a strong set of safety measures and ideal fuel economy, mainly in the hybrid model. The gas-only models are operated by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to some continuously variable automatic transmission for 190 horsepower and 179 pounds-feet of torque. The CR-V gets an EPA-estimated combined rating of 29 mpg with AWD or 30 mpg with FWD. The top-tier CR-V Touring trim adds standard AWD, navigation with voice recognition, a premium 9-speaker head unit and wireless phone charging. Heated seats come standard on the EX, EX-L and Touring, and can be leather-wrapped in the EX-L and up.
